Pool Plastering

How we plaster pools

We are licensed PebbleTec installers based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Once you decide on the color and texture of your plaster finish we source the right materials and professionally install your new pool finish. We can guarantee the highest quality and professionalism in our installation process.

Step 1: Mixing the batch formula
We take the desired color and texture for your pool finish and perfectly blend it to be ready for installation.

Step 2: Pneumatic spray application
The mixed formula is then pumped through a hose where our professionals pneumatically apply the plaster across the pool's surface in an even distribution.

Step 3: Hand Troweling
Immediately after the plaster is hand-troweled to make a more compact and smooth surface in preparation for exposure. Our team uses spiked shoes to protect the finish.

Step 4: Exposing the finish
After the plaster has been hand-trowled, depending on the finish, the surface is sprayed or wiped with water to expose the pebbles and or glass beads, and to remove any excess cement.

Step 5: Detail of the finish
After a hardening period, usually the following day, the pebble pool finish will be pressure washed and detailed using a specific acid solution to remove any excess residue or film. For certain finishes, the surface is lightly buffed to polish the stones and enhance the natural beauty of the finish.

Step 6: Completion
Your pool is now ready to be filled with water! Once filled with water, make sure to add the proper chemicals, and you will be ready to swim!
